Sometimes how we communicate can be affected by Parkinson’s, and this can have an effect on your confidence, whether at home socialising with your family, or out ordering food at a café. Often that makes people with Parkinson’s anxious about talking on the phone, or coping in restaurants.
Starting on March 21 at Anya Court, Dunchurch Road from 2-4pm, there is a series of four free sessions led by speech therapist Lizzie Broadhead, offering a supportive positive environment whilst working on key areas such as self monitoring skills, feedback techniques, breathing techniques and relaxation.
All are welcome, no matter at what stage on the journey you are, just let any committee member know that you are interested or email us.
