Parkinson's UK - Rugby Branch

If you have found this website because you have just been diagnosed, or someone you know has, welcome. You are not alone, and we want to help.

This is the website for the local branch and support group of Parkinson’s UK in the Rugby area.

We aim to bring together people with Parkinson’s, their partners, carers and other family members and we want to help improve the well-being of everyone in our area affected by the condition. We also want to help others understand what it is all about.

Who we are

Mark Pawsey

Our President. The Right Honourable Mark Pawsey MP

Parkinson’s UK do such important work nationally helping raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with the condition and our local branch here in Rugby are no different.

I am proud to be the President of the Rugby branch and to do what I can to help raise awareness of Parkinson’s, but the success of the branch is down to the hard-work and dedication of the incredible team of local volunteers.

There has been a great deal of progress made in helping those with Parkinson’s in recent years but there is still much more to do. I would encourage anyone with the disease, or with a family member who has the condition, to get in touch with the local branch and seek out the support and help that is available.
